Get an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the Zingerman’s businesses. Discover the processes for partnership and governance, their approach to learning and creativity, their globally-recognized unique model of growth called the 12 Natural Laws of Business.

About The Experience

What you'll learn: 

  • The in’s-and-out’s of the Zingerman’s business model, including how it might be relevant to your organization.

  • A variety of new tools and techniques to apply the “12 Natural Laws of Business” in your organization.

  • Interact with Zingerman’s employees and partners to learn more about how we walk the talk.

 

What's included in the fellowship:

  • Paid airfare to and from your home to the training site. (Up to $1,000 value)

  • Paid registration to the Zingtrain experience. ($1,500 value)

  • Tour Zingerman's Deli, Zingerman's Bakehouse, and other businesses on Zingerman's Southside for a behind-the-scenes peek of how things are done. 

  • Eat delicious breakfasts, lunches, snacks and treats made especially for you by several Zingerman’s businesses. Attendees rarely leave hungry.

Benefits of Zingtrain

Women of Color face the steepest access to capital to launch their businesses so they need assistance in many forms including the reality that they can't often afford the best professional development resources. Research shows that Women of Color are highly entrepreneurial; with access to capital, allyship and training, they are launching successful businesses all over the US.

 We have partnered with Zingtrain in Ann Arbor to share their innovative curriculum with Women of Color entrepreneurs.  We have attended this training and was blown away by the ideas and resources presented there, all of it built on the success of Zingerman’s, which started in the 80’s as a sandwich shop and has grown to seventeen businesses with $65M in annual revenue.  Learn more about Zingerman’s here.
