Explored the unique challenges that Women of Color face trying to launch, grow and scale a business. We will discuss issues related to unconscious bias, relationship capital, fundraising, and being "seen" within the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Sessions are designed for investors, allies, and policymakers who need to deepen their understanding of the problems with the system that continue to keep women of color entrepreneurs locked out.

Despite all the dollars being committed to support historically excluded entrepreneurs, the reality is that it barely moves the needle with respect to the bigger picture of capital access for those who struggle to get it. The discussion addressed why grants to businesses do not solve the problem and may be unintentionally exacerbating the biases that have led to capital segregation. Networking sessions were included enabling guests to connect to help break down barriers so we can build more bridges.

Explored the role of the Investor Community, Institutions, and Champions & Allies as change agents. In addition, thought leaders who are changing the game shared new ideas about capital access.
