Theme: Getting Capital to Women of Color Founders and Entrepreneurs

This has been a fruitful discussion about the unique barriers that Women of Color entrepreneurs face with respect to access to capital and why who's writing the checks matters. Attendees also had the opportunity to select small group sessions to get to know some fund managers who are providing unique solutions to get more funding to diverse founders and entrepreneurs.

Theme: Creating $1B in New Wealth Through Women of Color Entrepreneurs

We have been talking about the problems long enough. Now, we've put our collective energy and resources into identifying solutions and acting with intention. We explored the role of the Investor Community, Institutions, and Champions & Allies as change agents and had an opportunity to select small group sessions to discuss what the next steps need to be to create $1 billion in new wealth through women of color entrepreneurs to demonstrate that change is possible.

We enjoyed the virtual cocktail reception and celebration honoring amazing women of color entrepreneurs and the allies, champions, and investors who support them. We also had catching up with friends and met new people, all while supporting this movement to create a more inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem in which women of color can realize their full potential.
